Hi, I'm Nicky

I know exactly what it feels like to sit at the kitchen table late into the night, trying to cobble together a computing lesson when you’d rather be with your family or just sleeping. Years ago, I found myself juggling unfamiliar topics, endless emails and that constant sense of never quite being enough.

I saw my students’ eyes glaze over and felt the guilt of being stretched too thin, torn between wanting to be an inspiring teacher and actually having a life outside of work. That cycle of overwhelm and self-doubt is all too familiar and it’s the reason I created these resources in the first place.

Since then, I’ve spent over a decade developing and refining high-quality, curriculum-aligned computing resources that have now been trusted by more than 2 million teachers worldwide.

I’m a published author for Cambridge University Press and BBC Bitesize, and my lessons have been shortlisted for national awards.

Everything I create is designed to make your life easier, save you time and boost your confidence because I believe every teacher deserves to feel valued, supported and inspired, both in and out of the classroom.
